Our Church
Dunscore Church plays a crucial role in the community and pastoral care of parishioners is an essential part of Christ’s calling to the Church, particularly in times of need.
Worship within our Church is for everybody, regardless of age, nationality, status, or ability.
Our services begin at either 10:00am or 11:30am every Sunday as we alternate each year with our linked congregation in Moniaive. Currently services are at 11:30am.
Times can also change when we have joint services in Moniaive with our linked congregation or for our family friendly ALL Together NOW! service which normally takes place once a month.
Dunscore church is involved in lots of groups, activities and events which you can find out about in our Mission & Outreach section.

Why join us at Dunscore Parish Church?
Our Minister, Rev Mark Smith, explains a little bit more about Dunscore Parish and what you can expect if you pop along to join us:
Over the past year we have developed our patterns of worship to include the new, the old, the traditional, the formal, the informal, various organists, MP3 backing tracks, YouTube videos, yet … nothing has changed!
However we gather together to worship, the basic life of the church, the Body of Christ, continues. We come together recognising our need of God, remembering His great Love shown to us through Jesus, and praising Him through the holy Spirit. We also meet to encourage each other, to learn from God’s Word, and to grow our faith as we share His Love in the world.
The variety of worship reflects the variety of our members and means that there should be “something for everyone” and I hope that variety is serving us well, whatever our back-story.
Remember that Jesus welcomed everyone, challenged the traditional ways, and sought to focus people on God and His Way for their lives. That is our aim in our worship.I hope that as we approach the season which we are not to mention before Advent Sunday we can enjoy the variety … it is the spice of life after all!
